CO.RA. ROTARY VALVE
CO.RA. S.r.l. has presented its stellar model Rotary Valve, designed to resolve the problem of interception of flow in pharmaceutical plants. The valve allows the continuous feeding of granules and powder without obstructing the flow as well as uniformly dosing the product in the feeding of mills, tablet press machines, capsule filling machines, micro-dosing machines and sieves.
The valve was designed to be quickly and easily cleaned without the use of any tools. The ideal use for the Rotary Valve is in sterile rooms.
By using the successful philosophy of the Sole Valve, the Rotary Valve provides uniform dosing of the product.
Thanks to its star shaped configuration and to its movement (alternated 180° in one direction and 180° in the other) it gathers product and transfers it to the machine below withholding the product contained in the feeding container.
The movement in the two directions prevents demixing of product.
The speed and pause of the movement can be adjusted according to requirements by means of a control panel interfaced with the valve.
Thanks to the range of the interchangeable half-bodies available, user needs related to disassembly and cleaning can be met in the best of ways.
Product Characteristics
The Rotary Valve has a satin finished AISI 316L body in the standard version or a mirror polished body on request.
The rotor has six pockets, but it can be personalized as far as number of pockets and volume handled are concerned, depending on customer requirements.
The rotor makes an alternating 180° clockwise and anti-clockwise movement and it is possible to regulate the speed and pause between one rotation and the other by means of a control panel.

- little friction thanks to a small contact surface between the rotor and gasket;

The Rotary Valve is a bottom valve for powder containers and it is used where a controlled flow to regulate product is required, especially the feeding of mills, tablet press machines, capsule filling machines, micro-dosing machines and sieves.
