CO.RA has designed a new “Clotbreaking System” which is perfectly suitable for any type of crushing requirement.

The system is formed by two parts having different functionalities: the first part reduces the size of the compressed product; the second part reduces the size of the granules further so that they can  be crushed by the same mill.

The first part of the system is composed of a shaft endowed with helicoidally arranged blades, it is operated by means of a pneumatic system which is capable of performing 180° alternate movements in both senses of rotation and is designed to be easily inserted in any existing hopper, container or tube. Furthermore, the system was conceived to adjust itself to the types of product to be crushed, by changing the quantity, disposition and profiles of the blades.

The second part of the system is composed of a Special Rotating Valve that closes the hopper discharge. The valve, with opportune sagacities to the rotor, contemporarily reduces the granules and feeds the machine located under the hopper discharge.

The clotbreaking system is made of materials, suitable  to come into contact with pharmaceutical products, such as AISI 316L and PTFE and it is apt for the discharge of products from drums and

is part of the hopper which can be directly mounted to the prehensile element of the Drum Steri Lift

capsizer, thus making the manipulation phase of the product as well as the grinding and machine feeding practical and quick. Finally, the system can also be used in explosive ambients.
